　　此文为孙振耀在惠普工作长达25年后退休时的一段感言，已公开发表。因文中折射出诸多思想魅力与人生智慧，本刊隆重特荐并发表此文，以期给读者带来新的感悟。

　　In this article, the author talked about his future inscription: 1 he once served the world’s biggest IT Company (HP) for 25 years; 2 he once worked in the fastest developing country (China) for 16 years, and acted as the president of HP China for 7 years; 3 he was passionate of aviation. He used to be a licensed pilot, having x amount of hours of flying experience, landing on x amount of airports; 4 he had a Master degree of management, his contribution on Chinese corporations’ organizational behaviors and its outcome has been recognized by Chinese business field. At the age of 50 and over, the author wandered what is an enjoyable and meaningful life. So he retired and intends to spend two years with his family and accquire a flying license and a Master’s degree in management. The author hopes he can fly back to mainland China to accomplish his forth goal successfully two years later.

　　虽然离开惠普仅有十五天，但感觉惠普已离我很远。我的心思更多放在规划自己第二阶段的人生，这并非代表我对惠普没在任何眷恋，主要是想以此驱动自己往前走。

　　万科王石登珠穆朗玛峰的体验给我很多启发，虽然在出发时携带大量的物资，但是登顶的过程中，必须不断减轻负荷，最终只有一个氧气瓶和他登上峰顶。登山如此，漫长的人生又何尝不是？

　　我宣布退休后，接到同事、朋友、同学的祝贺。大部分人都认为我能够在这样的职位上及年龄选择退休，是一种勇气，也是一种福气。有一部分人怀疑我只是借此机会换个工作，当然也有一些人说我在HP做不下去了，趁此机会离开。多年来我已习惯别人对我的说三道四，但对于好友，我还是挺关心大家是否真正理解我的想法，这也是写这篇文章的目的。

　　由于受我父亲早逝的影响，我很早就下定决心，要在有生之年实现自己的愿望，我不要像我父亲一样，为家庭生活忙碌一辈子，临终前感伤，懊恼自己有很多没有实现的理想。

　　曾在一本台湾的商业周刊上看到这样一篇文章，提到我们在生前就应该思考自己的墓志铭，因为那代表你自己完美人生的定义，而我们应该尽可能在有生之年去实现它。
