将有多于五十位英国奥运健儿受益于洲际酒店集团的一项计划，作为2012伦敦奥运会的官方合作伙伴，洲际酒店集团的假日酒店将在接下来的两年里为备战2012年伦敦奥运会的英国运动员们提供1500次免费住宿机会。当运动员在训练、比赛、休息或者养伤时，运动员和他们的后援小组可以享受免费住宿。
       在奥运期间，假日酒店将在运动员村为来自世界各地的运动员服务，为他们提供住房经理、接待、门房等服务。而且假日酒店还会聘请一些奥运选手或残奥会选手，这样这些选手不但可以进行训练还可以赚钱。
      英国奥组委的体育总裁Clive Woodword说：“所有运动员都知道，作为训练的一部分，良好的睡眠是至关重要的。”

      Up to 50 British athletes will benefit from an IHG program that offers 1,500 free nights over the next two years to help them train for the 2012 Olympics in London. IHG’s Holiday Inn brand is the official hotel partner of the games. When they are training, competing or during rest and recovery, athletes and their support teams can use the free stays at any time.
      During the Olympics, Holiday Inn will help host the world's athletes in the Athletes Village, providing residential managers, receptionists and concierges. Additionally, Holiday Inn will employ a number of aspiring Olympic and Paralympic athletes on a flexible basis at hotels in leading up to the games, helping athletes build work experience and earn money while they train and compete.
      “All athletes understand the importance of a good night's sleep as part of their training regime,” says Clive Woodward, director of sport for the British Olympic Association.
