在2011年的《福布斯旅游指南》中,又有两家酒店荣获最新的五星级别荣誉。目前为止,全球已有54家酒店获此殊荣。这两家酒店是香港的香格里拉大酒店和宾夕法尼亚州法明顿的Nemacolin Woodlands度假中心的Falling Rock。

《福布斯旅游指南》的级别评选是基于对超过500项属性的客观评定而得的。今年又新增加了2家五星级酒店,这样荣获这项荣誉的酒店总数已达54家了。这些五星级酒店中,绝大部分位于美国,其中就有6家位于纽约。香港和澳门的五星级酒店也在2009年首度获此殊荣。《福布斯旅游指南》期待着扩大评选系统,并在2011年增加国际旅游目的地相关奖项。
Two hotels have gained new 5-star status in the 2011Forbes Travel Guide. At present, there are 54 5-star hotels win this award. The two new 5-star hotels are Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong and Falling Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
“As in years past, the 2011 5-star properties share an uncompromising commitment to the highest standards of guest service, luxurious accommodation and unique, memorable experiences,” says Shane O'Flaherty, president and CEO of Forbes Travel Guide. “As the Forbes Travel Guide brand grows worldwide, we are pleased to include a geographically broader, yet ever more selective, group of properties to the list.”
Forbes Travel Guide's ratings are based on objective evaluations of more than 500 attributes. This year's additions bring the total number of Forbes 5-star hotels to 54. Among the 5-star hotels, six are in New York City, the most of any city in the United States. There are five 5-star hotels in Hong Kong, and two in Macau, where ratings were established for the first time in 2009. Forbes Travel Guide expects to further expand its rating system to include properties in additional international destinations in 2011.
