Michael Henssler has over 25 years experience in the hotel industry, and his career has taken him across Europe to North America, through the Middle East to Asia. Learning the trade as a kitchen apprentice, Michael went on to graduate from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, and now also holds an MBA from Reims Management School.
Foremost, a passionate hotelier, Michael is a specialist for opening and positioning hotels from a strategic and operational perspective.
Holding senior management positions with Kempinski Hotels in Europe, the Middle East and China, Michael was appointed CEO of Tangram Hotels in 2011, recently opening the first two properties in China and the Middle East.
A native German, Michael now lives in Beijing with his wife and three children.
